Taking place in 5 Labs, Tampa on October 8-10, 2026. Orthopaedic trauma surgeons, while trained in arthroplasty during residency, often feel unprepared in practice. The growing trend of outpatient arthroplasty further emphasizes the need for trauma surgeons to handle acute fractures efficiently, enabling early mobilization and minimizing complications related to surgical delays. Register for this three-day hands on cadaveric course today!

    Dates:

    October 8, 2026 - October 10, 2026

    Location:

    Five Labs, Tampa

    • Day 1: Lower Extremity
    • Day 2: Lower Extremity
    • Day 3: Upper Extremity

Geriatric fractures and periprosthetic fractures are on the rise. Studies highlight arthroplasty as the optimal treatment for specific fractures, including geriatric femoral head and neck fractures, proximal and distal humerus fractures, and distal femur fractures. Additionally, some periprosthetic fractures necessitate revision arthroplasty alongside ORIF to ensure successful outcomes and reduce complications.

This three-day course is designed to provide trauma surgeons with the expertise to address these challenges confidently.

    Learning Outcomes

    1. Recognize indications for acute and revision arthroplasty in upper and lower extremity fractures.
    2. Master surgical techniques for primary arthroplasty in upper and lower extremity fractures.
