The 2025 OTA Resident Advanced Case Controversies course will be held Saturday October 18 at the Phoenix Convention Center.

The Advanced Case Controversies course is designed to explore complex and challenging cases in the field. Through small group discussions and case presentations from renowned guest speakers, participants will engage in critical thinking around some impactful topics in orthopedic practice.

Key topics will include:

  • Periarticular Problems
  • Bone Defect/Loss
  • Nonunion/Infection
  • Disasters Around Hips

This course will foster in-depth discussions and the exchange of insights and experiences. Attendees will leave with a stronger foundation in navigating these controversial and high-stakes cases, ready to apply new knowledge to their own practice.

Target Audience: This course targets PGY4 - PGY5’s, but others who have completed the OTA Residents Comprehensive Fracture Course or equivalent and feel they will benefit are not excluded.
