Statement of Need/Description/or Summary of Gap Analysis

This video demonstrates a rare but complex injury. Viewers should understand the significance of this type of bony injury. The patient was treated for a Moore 1 Knee fracture dislocation and developed a nonunion of the plateau fracture. Patient underwent a repair with bone grafting in the prone position. Take home points include: Repair of fracture nonunions involve understanding and following the following principles; Identify and debride ununited margins at the fracture site; provide stable fixation and add a biological stimulus to promote healing.

Instructional Format: This Orthopaedic Trauma Association Video CME activity consists of a video and an evaluation. Adjunct materials is provided on our OTA social media platforms.

Method of Participation: There are no fees for members to participate in this activity. Non-members must pay $10 per 0.5 credit hour. This package will be $30 total. To claim AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ credit, participants must read the front matter, watch the video, and complete an evaluation.
